For seventh period, we did First Aid again, in RO. It was a review of what we did a few months ago. On Thursday and Friday we are supposed to do CPR. Fares did the heimlich manuever on me, on the wrong spot. I think he was too tall or something. Ended up doing it on my ribs. o_<
I made a page for the Brigade Ball pics. It's called "When the Night Falls," after the name of the dance.
Yesterday, Alex came back. I didn't get to have a chance to talk to him though. He was in the RO room during 7th period, when I have RO. So no chance to talk. And right after school I had to change for the Community Youth Center performance thingy, and we left pretty quickly after that. =(
Tomorrow's Valentine's Day. No valentine for me! LoL. I don't care. But hope you guys enjoy yours.
We got the ASVAB test results back today. I did okay... not too bad but not all that great. What was really cool was that two of the job possiblities for me were "police officer" and "fire fighter". Pretty cool. It was pretty interesting for us, 'cause a lot of us got some jobs that we were interested in. :D
For Chinese New Year parade, we're supposed to be wearing the tan shirts and black pants. Last time I wore that, the smallest sized shirt they had was still too big for me. I tucked it in all the way and it still had a lot of material left, sticking out. LoL! I think I might have to wear it to the Japanese Cultural Festival, since I can't bring my bag. *sniff sniff* That's gonna be weird...
Damn... that stupid annoying Richard won't leave me alone. When I was walking down the hall he just came behind me from no where and started hissing at me. What the hell?!? I can't stand him! Somebody make him go away!!!! >__<
I got a Xanga blog today. It'll be my more "publicly allowed" blog. Like ones that people I know can look at. Hehe. ^^;; 'Cause sometimes I write stuff here that is more personal. Sometimes I'll copy and paste and edit between this and the Xanga.
I haven't done much today. I woke up at around 11. Some family members came over for Chinese New Year visiting, and I didn't know they were coming. So I was in my pjs when they came. Hehe. I just poured them some tea and then went on to eat my lunch. So after they left I went to go change my clothes. More family members came later. I poured them some tea then went off on my own to the computer. :D
That's basically what I've been doing all day though. Just sitting around at the computer. Tried to do my homework. Hehe. I finished some of my Modern World homework, but I still have to write some assignment. It's this diary thing that you pretend to be the people in that event. Blah blah blah. Alright, I'm done. Gonna work on that homework then sleep.
I haven't blogged for a REALLLY long time. I've been meaning to, but I haven't had the chance. But a lot has happened since. I probably won't remember a lot, but there are some things I do.
I developed my Brigade Ball pics I had on my camera and got them on Tuesday, but they weren't that good. They were okay, but kinda funky. Then on Wednesday I got the professional pics. You know, those "studio" ones you take at dances. Yeah... I think the Flag Team pics turned out pretty nice. I look kinda funny, but oh well. I always do. ^_^ Out of the three pics I took, I think I look best in the eTard pic. Iono why... I look less stupid. Hahaha. I think I might make a small site for the pics, once I get them scanned. I'll see if other people have more pics, then it'll be bigger. ^_^
  In FT we started our drill for 91st. I'm doing better than I did last year. I can learn faster and better now. Yay! They made this cool spinny thing, but they took it out right when I was getting the hang out it. ; _ ;
I'm doing better in Chemistry now too. I actually understand how to do the problem sets, for once. And I'm actually getting good grades on them. I might just get a B this semester. MIGHT.
I might apply for AP US History next year. I'm still debating on whether or not I should. But I feel as though I should take at least one AP class. Hehe. I might take Japanese 3/4 Honors too.
Today is Chinese New Year, so "gong hay faht choy" to all of you. I went out to eat a Chinese New Year eve dinner last night with my family. Was very crowded in the restraunt. And some little girl wacked me with her hair. ._. Today I woke up and ate breakfast with my family. We had jai, which is this vegetarian dish thingie, if you didn't know. Later we're gonna make jien dui (I can't spell!!) for lunch. Iono if we're gonna go visit any relatives today or not. But I still have to finish my homework. Hehe I've been listening to some songs by Dicky Cheung. Must download more songs. I just finished "Bring me to Life" by Evanescence. It's nice. ^^
Yesterday was the last day of the semester. Wo0~ Some people showed up at school,
but some didn't. First period we continued watching the Joy Luck Club. Syl came in around
end of class and asked for me, so I went to door. LoL. Second period less than half of the
students showed up, so we just hung around and talked. Third period I skipped Boksenbaum's
class 'cause we weren't doing anything and I went to B-CO. So boring 'cause it was an
academic day, and they were just going over the final. Fourth period I got my Chem final
back. It was... okay. ^^;; *cough cough* Fifth period I got my Japanese final back. Did
pretty good. Sixth period I skipped Yearbook and went to D-CO. Hung around staff area this
time. Seventh period I had RO (E-CO). More people showed up than I expected. Got my final
back, did okay. After last bell rang I had to take care of CSP, like every other Friday. :P
  BRIGADE BALL!!
When I was done with that and dismissed them, I went to my aunt's to get a
ride home. Took a quick shower when I got home, and gathered all my Brigade Ball stuff. Ate
a quickl unch and waited for my dad to drive me to Sylvana's house. When 2:30 rolled around,
my dad finally drove me. I forgot to say bye to my mommy and ask her to record my Chinese
show for me. Bleh... So on our way to Syl's house, we were trying to find the street, and
then several hills later, we got there and I sighted her "gay purple house", to quote Syl.
^_^;; So I got out of the car and walked over to the house and I couldn't find the doorbell.
Hahaha. Sad, ne? So eventually my dad came out and found the doorbell for me, which was
right in front of me the whole time. Went inside, and put my stuff down. Teresa and Irene
were there already too, and their hair was done too. Serena did Syl's hair and then did
mine. She got hair spray in my ears... not a nice feeling. LoL. So after that we walked down
the very steep hills. We missed one bus, so we had to wait for the other. The bus let us off
early because it was the end of the line. The next one was coming, so we ran, and my hair
bun started unraveling. LoL. So we took it and got off the next stop at Stonestown.
When we were done there, we took the bus to Teresa's house. I changed into my
skirt there, and we later ate dinner. After dinner we took a few pics with mine and Teresa's
cameras. Teresa's mom drove us and first we went to go pick up John at 7 something. Don't
remember, ehehe. And then we drove down to Arguello Street. Henley, Adi, Warren, Lamar,
Carl, Eric, and Michael were walking there. We tried to get there attention, but they didn't
see us. While we were driving through the Presidio, it was very very dark. Scary-ish. Makes
me wonder how the guys can walk through this and not be scared, while I'm in a car and still
scared. =/
When we got to the Golden Gate Club, not much people were there yet. We took a
few more pics, and then the guys arrived. Quite fast, I believe, for walking. O_o;; More
people showed up, and then we went inside to reserve a table for Wash. I think we got two.
We put down our stuff and went over to part where they were taking the photos. My first
group pic of the night was the eTard pic. Well, kind of eTard... minus Steph and Michael,
and Irene got into the pic too. When we were done, Adi popped up and said he was looking for
me. We were going to take the Flag Team pic soon. That was good, last year we took it when
there was a line and in the middle of the dance. :P So we stood in front of the background,
and the lady photographer was trying to organize us into poses. Mika was telling me how the
lady looked like she cut her own hair really poorly, so we started laughing. We both ended
up next to each other. Those photo people always find some way to organize people. ^_^ So
there goes $16 with those two pics.
It was very long before anything else happened, besides dancing. Around 10, I
think, they began to announce the Brigade Staff and the Battalion Queens. When they
announced Synia as Wash's Battalion Queen, some people started laughing, which I believe
came from Aaron's outfit. Ehehe. He always wears something that's very unique and makes him
stand out. So when all of them were announced, a slow dance came on for the King and Queen
dance. After that song, we all went to go take the Wash Battalion pic. It was amazing how
the photographer fit EVERYONE in the pic. The background/set thing was so dinky... I had to
kneel again. *sigh* Oh well. That was another $8, so I spent a total of $24 on group pics.
So after that, nothing much else happened. I just sat around at the table.
Ehehe. Eventually people began to leave, starting at around 11:30-ish. Teresa called her mom
to come pick us up. We waited around more until her mom came, at around midnight. And there
ended the Brigade Ball.
I wish I took more pics with my camera. Most of the pics were of Synia and
Aaron. Ehehe. But they were so pretty together. I wish I took a pic of FT at the fireplace.
That fireplace was really pretty. Very big. So I spent $39 bucks on Brigade Ball. The ticket
was $15, group photos were $24, which add up to $39. Plus I'm still going to spend money on
developing my camera pics. Wo0... Overall, I think the Brigade Ball wasn't too bad this year.
No more finals!! Yaay!! Today was the last day of finals. Tomorrow is the last day of the semester. Waii~ so happy. ^-^ Both of my finals today were pretty easy. For Modern World it was almost all multiple choice, and just one or two other questions. For RO, it was just about drill. Mostly stuff I know. Bwahahahahaha.
For RO, some of the annoying freshmen in my company are gonna be gone next semester, so I'm so happy. Two of the guys are going to Bravo, or so I hear, and that takes care of half my problems. The other ones are quitting RO, so that's even better! And there are a few other people that are annoying, but I guess I can put up with them still. At least I have the others gone.
Tomorrow is Brigade Ball. I gotta find a camera. Haha. And gotta bring some money too. :P
Wo0... two finals down, four more to go. The Chemistry final wasn't as hard as I expected. I took the multiple choice portion today, and I found it much easier than I thought it would be. I think I did pretty good on the Japanese final. But there were about four vocabulary words that I forgot the meaning. Bleh...
  Anyway, on Saturday my dad had a day off, so we went yum cha for lunch/brunch. It wasn't bad. Pretty good, I would say, compared to some other restraunts I've been. Later that evening, we went to my grandma's house to meet up with the rest of the family to go celebrate her birthday with my other cousin's birthday. We went to go to this other restraunt later, and we had a different dinner that usual. There was this escargo thing. I was planning on eating it, but then I saw how icky it looked outside the shell and it reminded me of the icky slimy ones in the backyard so I gave it to my brother. LoL. Everything else was yummy though. After we left to go back to my grandma's house, we discovered that her street and the one next to it was having a black out. The street was so dark. And this weird man passed me and it creeped me out. I walked into the house but I came back out onto the street because it was so dark in there. It was like pitch black in there, and I really don't like the dark. So I stayed outside with the moonlight until my cousins found flashlights. Hehehe. So we ate a birthday cake using flashlights. ^_^;;
La Li La. Not much going on now. But I gotta find twenty-four bucks so I can get pics at Brigade Ball. Eight bucks for the FT pic (I THINK we're having one...), eight for the battalion pic, and another eight for the eTard pic. Anyway, I'm off now. Gotta go watch tv! :D
Ahhh... I haven't blogged for a long time. I'm so sad. Okay, maybe not sad, but I've been disappointed a lot lately.
Yesterday was my Chem final, part one. Half of my class took the lab portion and the other half took the problem set portion. I was sent to the back of the Chem room to do the lab portion. The lab itself wasn't that hard, but being stupid me, I didn't do too well. I tried my best, but I don't think I got the right numbers in the equations. So I think I may have failed part one. *sniff sniff* I was really disappointed in myself, because this time I actually tried. The night before I really tried hard to study, and actually got some in. Hopefully I'll do better on the next two parts. *sigh*
For Brigade Ball, Jessie wants to split so we can both have guy dates, so that's good. She's doing exactly how we were planning to do. Hehehe. The only problem is I gotta find a date now. LoL.
At FT we've been teaching the freshmen the "357" drill. They're doing okay, but they could be better. ^_^;; The other guys have been working on making up a new drill for 91st. I really hope we place this year. We really need to enforce sharpening up with the freshmen. Even if we have a tight drill, it won't look good unless we're sharp. Sloppy plus good drill equals crappy. Won't do us any good. So we better work on that.
My company is actually getting better now. I haven't had to give out demerits for a while. And instead, I've actually given out merits. Wow! I'm impressed. But they could still do better. Like stop talking while we're out on the esplanade and while they're at attention. Some of the trouble makers are getting kicked out for next semester, so hopefully we'll be a lot better next semester. For now I'll just hope for the best.
Finals are next week. We have half day schedules for Tuesday through Friday. Woohoo! I might go visit my old elementary school or something on one of those days.
I've realized how incredibly stupid I've been, so I'm really going to try hard on my finals. Next semester I'm going to try not to slack off so much, and lessen on the procrastinating. I guess that's one of my New Year resolutions. ^_^;; Anyway, better get going now. Gotta study and stuff. Bye bye!
Ahh, after tonight it's only one day left of Winter Break. Noo!! What happened to my two weeks of relaxing? ; __ ; Crap... I didn't get my homework done either. *sigh*
Yesterday I went to Chinatown. Wasted some time at some bank. Then my parents sent me and my bro to sit around in the car. Blah blah blah. Went to eat lunch. Blah blah blah. Went home. Blah blah blah.
Today I cleaned up the table a bit. There's still a lot of crap left though. Must organize it tomorrow. I also watched 2001 Space Odyssey with Chris. I have one word to describe it. WEIRD. It was so slow too. It was somewhat interesting. But in the end it just made no sense at all. O_o;; *cough* I wanna watch Once Upon a Time in China...
  I haven't taken a test in a while, so here's one I found at someone else's blog...

click here to find out which asian action superstar you are!
You are Chow Yun Fat. you
are a charming and devilishly attractive person. On one side you are strong,
wise, cool and calm.
but on the other side you enjoy chaos, bullets, guns, explosions, blondes and
have a knack for killing people.
you're primary colors of dress are grey and black. you like the expensive stuff.
LoL!! He's cool. :D Oh well. That's about it. Bye bye!
Today I went to the dentist. My teeth feel really weird even now. And I think my teeth are kind of shifting. Ergh... what the f*ck... Oh well...
I'm so bored... I'm almost done on my nengajyou. My coloring sucks, so it's not as good as it was when it was in black and white. Bleh. Oh well. I'm not expecting to win. LoL. I still have to finish redoing my Chem notebook too, so I can give Dil's back to her.
I tried to start oekaki again today, but I've just lost it. I can't draw in oekaki anymore. LoL. Took too long of a break from it, and got too used to Paint Shop Pro. Oh well...
Right now I'm just watchign music videos. LoL. Nothing to do. And where is everyone? There's like only ten people online and I only talk to two of them. .__.;; Man, stupid Leslie coughed on me a while ago. I started sniffling and sore throat, and it hasn't stopped yet. Grawr. *cough* Bleh... I'm off.
Happy New Year everyone! As you can see, I'm starting the new year with a fresh new layout. It was really quick and simple. Not much thought put into it. This layout features my own drawing which I also completed today. I tried a new style with the eyes, which I am liking. And for those who are wondering, those are sheep/ram "horns" on her head. ^_^;; Well, 2003 is the Year of the Sheep, so yeah... Hehehe.
I also added a new subject to the side. It's a calender, so you can see what kind of events I have this month. Yeah... something like that.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the new layout. And have a great year! Bye bye!
